The bubble spa consists of two parts. Attach the mat to the bottom of your tub with the little rows of suction cups; then connect the mat to the plug-in pump that sits on the floor using the included tube. Fill the bath, switch the spa on, and the mat inflates slightly--then thousands of air bubbles swarm up out of it. It's a pleasant, relaxing experience, though "massage" is perhaps too strong a word for what warm air bubbles can do for you.
